Right guys and girls, I am thinking of JUST buying lowering springs for a 30-40 mm drop which i have read is okay to do so without buying shocks. I have looked around on web and europerformance.co.uk sell H&R springs which give a 35mm drop and konis which also give 30-35mm drop. I dont want the rear to drop more or the front visa versa as i want both drops to be pretty much equal so Eibach is a no go for me. What is better in terms of quality out of the two??? Which should i go for peeps??

Oh and i know there may be cheaper places to buy both springs from like ebay but please focus on the answering the question H&R or Konis??? Many thanks. PUNCH IT!:help:

best set-ups with the leon for the springs are H&R cup kit, or Koni FSDs with Eibach springs. The 2nd of the two being the more expensive option.

Or there are always coilovers, KW, Eibach, FK all make kits for the leon.

I would get springs and dampers mate. Just Spring are "ok" but on a car like yours its not the best option. Save a bit more and get a full kit.

Just my thoughts.

i had thought of going down the "just spring" road but i dont think its a good idea from what i have been reading? Coilovers are a bit too much so im now looking for a full suspension kit. Iwould like to spend £300 max but dont know if i will get anything very good for that price?

Thanks people i understand that Shocks are the way to go as well as springs but i dont really want to spend to much on mods just yet but i do want the lower, more agressive look without problems on the original shocks.

My plan is springs, 18"alloys, sports cat, TIP and then the Remap. Which one i dont know but APR or Custom code is favourite it as they are both local to me Custom code more so. (Hayes)
Sounds good?
