H7 Bulbs how to fit

Can't believe I'm asking this but I'm a little confused
One of my headlights seemed like the light was pointing down a bit. On closer inspection I see the H7 bulb didn't look like it was fitted right. So I took it out and it sat better once the bulb was turned 180 degrees. I plugged it back in, tested it and it blew so it must of been the right way before but it don't sit in right I played with the other bulb and it too blew
Stupid me anyway brought new bulbs but I'm worried which way they do go and if the plugs will be plugged right. I have googled to save myself the shame but couldn't find much though I read that H7's it doesn't matter what way round the terminals are? i.e. positive and negative?
If someone can check to see if the brown wire is the top or the red and what way these bulbs fit, like the lip bit is it top or bottom on bulb I really would appreciate it

terminal wise it doesnt matter but in the headlight it does

Ok cheers so plug doesn't matter but the way the bulb sits it does?
How's the bulb sit mate? It sat better when I turned it so must be wrong does the prong on the bulb face down or up?

it should locate into a lug in headlight and then the spring clip will fit nicely

Thanks put the new bulbs in the passenger side was incorrect before so glad I sorted it just weird how they blew. All sorted now thanks again I was just paranoid I end up blowing the new ones id I fitted them wrong
