damn missed a lot when I took the lil one to bed! Oh well, keep your eye on eBay to see some going might be worth finding one with a lil bump and use your bits Vince and then break yours to get some cash in your pocket :D

anyway, back to the subject: what to buy next? i want something more economical.

Seat Arosa... misses got one and fair play it's been good! It's only the 1 litre but you could go for the 1.4 16v sport.... 100bhp in such a small car would be fun ;)

i have trouble fitting in them :( driven a few, theyre fun but cant get comfy.

im having difficulty finding any desirable mk2. either got huge miles on them or no tax and test. could end up getting a leon tdi.

check out Passat's I only paid £2200 for mine and looking at an estate next week with collies and 18's on a 55 plate going for £4900.

Set a budget for yourself and take a look around

ahh rite well make sure when u go for your next purchase you check and double check everything :)

text check costs about £5 after all the **** they send to you but it's worth it and gives you enough detail. Text 83600 with the reg number

there is one mk2 i like that looks in good nic, its on autotrader for 1500. yellow 8v listed as a 16v with black wheels.

and the dvla to check the milage

Not always spot on because it's upto the owner to declare the milage when tax'in the car. If you look on the back of your MOT sheets there's a web site go on there and type in the MOT number and it gives you all the details of every MOT the cars been through..... including any advisories (sp) and milage

thats the one i was on about dave i went on there yesturday thanks to a link on here it was great like you say even tells you what it failed on , uinfortunatley vince went on there to and found out his milage was off

Handy but it's something you will find out after you buy the car unless the seller kindly gives you the MOT number. Should be by law to state the milage of the car when tax'in it but how many people will write down teh right milage
