Model Year 23/24 Haldex interval Formentor

Hi Folks,

For those who are still thinking when to get Haldex service done.
See the attached pics got it serviced at 25k miles.
Definitely it was in a sad state.
Service done at cupra main dealer.
Owned it from new. Have not thrashed the car whatsoever just mostly peak time M25 drive.

I believe the change interval has been dropped from 3 to 2 years recently.

I can tell you that the manufacturer, Borg Warner, specifies significantly shorter intervals than VW does. Please take a photo of the unit's serial number; I have a bad feeling about this.

Good to see that the filter / strainer has been cleaned. Many VW dealers in the UK don’t do this as a matter of course; they say it’s not part of the Haldex service. They’ll just change the fluid and will only clean the filter / strainer if specifically asked to.

Yes it was a long shot, I requested dealer if they can take pics for my understanding and they showed me upon collection.
Even I asked if they would just change oil or do filter clean as well.
Answer was mostly oil change they would do.
I guess the technician did it regardless.
Happy days.
I guess 20k miles would be a sweet spot to get this done. Rest I think is a gamble.
Thought to post here for reference those who still wondering 3 years or 40k miles etc.
Better get it done every 20K miles.
