Very interesting, just what you need to save some fuel, and tyres, for every day driving.

Ideal if your running big power..

whats the point!?
I want my power there all the time, no switches,
if i don't want all the boost and all the power i just dont floor it!

It does seem to me that if you can't train your right foot to apply power as and when you want it, you don't need a switch - you need more lessons.

Bit of a waste of time IMHO - but fair play to those who think they want/need one.

I also don't see the point, high gears and low revs increase my mpg all the time. Plus I don't need to mess about with a switch come play time :)

think its for bt boys really like when you have a map where you can switch between power levels surely this is same kind of thing i think its a good idea not just a case of keep foot off, less boost more mpg etc but i suppose its each to their own

not really - the map will still request the boost won't it - and it'll throw you into limp mode when it can't

good idea, won't work in 99% of applications

ah i see mark i'll just run along and shut up then lol

but with apr map for example if you get a cruise control you can pick your power outputs on the stalk

thats a whole lot better than a full boosting motor being 'restricted' for sure

nice idea - but must admit does seem pointless apart from the first gear bit - that makes sense - sort of

for the cost/hassle you may as well add a launch control instead ?
