Ive just bought one from sgpetch for £165......dealer couldn't match it
Just waiting for it to be carbon dipped by someone who does hydro dipping
Will fit it myself, it's only stuck on......comes complete with adhesive tape applied
Hi...thanks yes it's the spoiler from sgpetch...and probably the same as the oemvag.....it is not attached with bolts.....the kit calls up glue...not supplied....I have fitted spoilers before and just use 3m...tape which is already fitted.....however on this I added some spots of silicon sealant.....left it for 24 hours...before driving....the 3m tape sticks really well.......just clean down paintwork with methylated spirit to remove wax etc....easy to fit took 10 mins
Hi...thanks yes it's the spoiler from sgpetch...and probably the same as the oemvag
This is my spoiler, brought direct from seat for £160 primed, then painted by a friend using paint from VW to match my paint code
Can take more photos if needed, although the cars a little dirty at the moment
Bit of a difference between the two...
Tommy what does it look like from the rear, looking up at the bottom please?
Who did the fitting and how on yours please, assume this is the spoiler I was looking at at £399 painted and fitted from the dealer. Also which dealer did you get from primed?
Excellent, thanks so much... Tommy95 Stuck with tape only?
Most welcome, yes and no, they supply a fitting kit, which includes some thin foam strips you stick to the spoiler to reduce vibrations, a tin of alcohol rub to clean the surface, and big tube of a really sticky glue, and trust me it sticks and goes of very quickly, if you get any excess glue on any paint or your fingers remove it with the alcohol rub ASAP! Then just tape it to hold it in place while the glue goes off. So yes you use tape to hold it initially, but after 24 hours the glue will hold it in placeAny other questions just ask

Excellent pics my friend!!
It's a bit different to how i expected. The carbon goes a treat with the grey paint.
Questioning for me if my thought of black on white would go thou...
sgpetch seems to still be at £165

Is it the same one as this one?

Says you need this to fit it? what did you use?

depends what else is black. Would look good if you've got the sunroof already, or wrap the roof and mirrors to match...
