Mat boy! Long time, been meaning to tet you to get back up to speed with everything.

Been advised not to go down the 2.1 takes away the reviness so I've been told. I'm going to be happy with the claime/expected power but could be interested in the crank hehe.

marts 2.1 mk1 used to run to 9k or something stupid with well over 200hp

yea I know the spec, spent some time down his while he was getting my flywheel and throttle body done. He's sold that golf and it rev'd to 8k odd. He's brought a mk2 golf from a bloke in work about a year ago I think.

And the mk1 lets say we had play with it and the snot and it was a bit of a shock, Mat - beeza gti remembers what happened as he was in the car with me an phil w was in with Martin.

Lets say the golf didn't get past but it was wet so I guess traction could have been a problem but up to the speeds we went traction shouldn't be an issue until a corner lol.

Of course this was on a track and not public roads
