Having a nightmare with my passenger window,
The misses wound it down and made a hell of a racket and grinding noise and the window went all the way down into the door and wouldn't go back up,

After taking the door cards off this is what I found, any help to what parts I need it what I should do now as I do have the window up, however with the door closed I can put my hand on the window and pull it down, so not exactly Ideal lol

New Window mech cables it's all bolted to that panel I think I e never done one but I hear there a god damn nightmare

What years your car mate I'll see what I can find for you :)

I do believe I read somewhere that the door module controls the window mech as well but this may just be on rear doors

Was afraid of it being a pain, I took most of it out and disconnected the motor put the door card back on etc etc then the bloody car wouldn't lock turns out motor needed to be connected for the alarm to work

Ok sweet mate thanks it's :) it's on a 52 plate

get a repair kit off of ebay
couple of traders okzam and byronics
fitted several come with cables/gears and guides
you use your frame and runners
around £17

Would you be able to send me a link of some sort of what I need as to be honest I haven't a clue what to look for :/

That's brilliant cheers lads!

So these a pain to fit then? As I take it that metal case on the door has to come off but I haven't a clue how tho :/

Your better off buying a complete regulator second hand and replacing the whole thing, it's a 15 minute job then, piece of piss instead of messing about with those cables and rollers.
