Yep, it was another reason to would LOVE to have had a Grand Prix or Mexico Pro, it just looks like the stock head unit in the Golf MKIVs, but just a bit too much for my wallett
Jonathan that looks quite flush actually both in daylight and at night. Its only the few gloss surfaces that give it away slightly as not being OEM but its visually more pleasing in itself than the becker to me.

The becker has already been ordered so should be here in the next few days. Looks like I'll need you to hook me up with those latest maps if still possible please

Sure you'll love the becker - I hear they have fantastic sound quality... did you buy it off someone on this forum??? Would be nice to see some pics of it insitu.

I ended up taking the pluge for the pioneer I mentioned, also ordered a Brodit phone holder for my HTC Desire HD with a vent mount so I can hook that up to the stereo.
Ill take some pics when its all set up!

Yeah he seems alright Lee, the ipod cable should save me a couple pounds as well.
Jonathan, not a chance mate lol I was lucky to get this one, Lee spotted it on ebay and I jumped on it seeing as he already had one and didn't need another. I've made my minimum 15 posts needed so I'll definitely post some pics. I need to anyway as I'll require advice on all the scratches in the paintwork

Phones awesome! Really pleased with it in the couple weeks I've had it.
The mrs has an iPhone 4 and comparing them they each have strengths over each other in differernt areas but I'd pick the HTC any day of the week, once you go 4.3" you won't go back!

do i need a seperate cable from the HU if the stereo is iso ready or is it plug and play,

JSH I think I know what I'm asking for as an xmas present hehe! Do like the iphone 4 but can't stand being like everyone else in getting one. Plus being ripped off in the tariff is a definate no no for me!

Ahh that info has come a bit late for me i'm afraid already got mine! Still Jonathan might be interested.
Right bought that now and am doing some light reading on the manual to see what I've got myself into hehe. When the lead arrives Lee I'll pm you for instructions on either how to modify it or how to get it to you and back to me.
