i only need new screen and glovebox unit and usb port as i already have dab and gps mib1
6.5" is easy to find but i am looking for the 8" for a good price prefer to find with the vents too so i dont need to cut anything so i can covert back to mib1 when i sell car again later.
your 824a units dont work you need 020 at the end the harman ones
If you already have GPS sensor, then better getting 5QA035846A, I didn't want the hassle of mounting GPS sensor.

i read 020 unit from either audi vw skoda or seat will work just coding to say which it is in.
i can help with a unit if you require

Hahaha, As I mentioned, everyonecontacts this guy in the end, he charges around 50-200€ depends on what all functionality you want activated and does his Magic!

5F0 035 020 A is the MIB2 glovebox unit with built in SSD, maps are stored on the SSD, it also has DVD player. It may be different on facelift models. vagcarcoding.com or vagtec.co.uk may be able to help.
yes its a lot faster than the sd card based ones few people have said any vag braded one will work as you just code it to whatever brand you want
are you a member on that forum ? can you ask him what he does to fit 858 units ?
i will have a 858 and a 020 unit next week had to buy the set with the 858 to get the screen but it was cheap
a specialist has said any harman unit will work as they just code it to the car but will show errors when scanning with vcds as these units are not meant for early cars
vikram suggested a guy on the other forum has successfully got 858 units to work
