Hi, I bought a 2019 SEAT Leon FR TSI Evo 2 weeks ago and I’ve just noticed that on both front seats the collars where the headrests slot in are quite raised. Any ideas on how to lower them closer to the upholstery?

I’ve removed the headrests and the collar cover plates but they will not budge. The upholstery doesn’t seem to have anywhere to clip into the plastic.

I find it hard to believe this is normal? The cars done 54k miles and seats are immaculate otherwise so can’t imagine the covers have been removed.
