... in the 'SEAT ibiza Cupra 1.9tdi reg. No. ND54 UZO which is advertised on Autotrader and Ebay.
This is actually a 1.8 turbo Cupra.
After ringing the garage to confirm the car was still available and booking a viewing as I would be driving 45miles to go and see it, I arrived at the garage to find it had been taken to the prep department, which was now locked for the weekend. Thats annoying part one.
On the way home I went to another garage of the same dealership, and they said if I left a £100 deposit they could get the car shipped to them (less distance for me to travel again) so I could test drive it and it meant the car was mine if I wanted it. Great!
Yesterday, garage rings and says 'Hi mate' (I think here we go) 'Problem with the cupra - its actually a petrol not a diesel) Excellent!
So I travelled a round trip of 90 miles for a car that was wrongly advertised in the first place! And I'm still struggling to get my deposit back.
So a heads up - anyone that wants a diesel cupra - DO NOT GO AND VIEW THIS CAR!
