Heavy steering!

Hi guys,

I have a 2001 Ibiza cupra which i haven't driven for a while as i've been working abroad, now when i drive it the steering feels really heavy. The power steering still works but compared to my girlfriends Fabia it doesn't feel right at all! Am i just used to light power steering or is there something wrong?
