Help! Engine management light on + wont start...

After just under a year of ownership ive encounter my first problem with the Cupra.
Was out a couple of nights ago and went to accelerate away from some lights and it didnt boost properly. The engine management light started flashing so i backed off and after a short while it went off. So i tried accelerating again and same again, didnt boost properly engine management light flashing again. Was running rough, missing etc...
Every time i backed off to very low revs it would go off but as soon as you went over 2000rpm it would come on again. After a while the light came on and then just stayed on solid.
Got it back home and had a look at the plugs and coil packs and discovered no.1 coil pack wasnt working so put it back together thinking easily fixed but then wouldnt even start. Just doesnt sound like its going to fire up at all.

Any ideas anyone?

Would vag com find anything?

coilpack or MAF it seems get a diagnostic test on it will tell you exactly what the problem is!

Yeh im hoping coil pack. Just funny as it was running before i checked it but wont start after.

Did you have a Cupra exhaust for sale a couple of months back? Still got it?
