Hey guys wondering if anyone can help me here?

Had ko3s and forge turbo intake pipe fitted recently did have same problem before but just seems worse now.

Basically when you put your foot down and hit full load in first and second around 3k rpm it makes a bang sound and then just hesitates for ages and won't rev properly. Also done it in 3rd, 4th and 5th but just not as bad.

I thought was spark or coil packs so have bought new denso ik22 spark plugs and also 4 brand new bolt down coil packs but still having same problem.

Met up with Dave today and tried his n75 and still doing same, also unplugged maf and still does same thing.

Dave had a look to see if he could figure out what was wrong but hes stumped on it too.

Heres logs i have got from 2nd and 3rd gear runs to see if anyone can spot somet there are no fault codes coming up at all though and driving around normally it's fine only under full load it has the problem.

would have thought it would have done it constantly if it was the fuel pump??
 
yea but if its only on fuell load when it tryign to get all fuel maybe just on its way out?

dont know just an idea. its doing it in all gears now though i think :(

works fine if done put foot all the way down
 
There's nothing jumping out at me from the logs, but it looks sluggish.

when i was in the car it was proper pulling back, hesitating, banging, farting the works .... cant see any of that on the logs :shrug:

drove fine up to 3k, then at 3k it bangs, pulls back etc etc, but it does it for about 3seconds (with foot still down) then it allows you past 3k and drives fine again
 
its as dave expains really doesent seem odd from logs but is really bad when driving it.

i will log 114 tonight in 3rd for you see what that brings up.

will get 114 logs up adn hopefully some one will have an idea what it can be.

its really bad to drive though as dave found out.
 
Injector opening time of 30ms is running a bit rich isnt it? I bet your injectors are maxed out.

Could try playing with lemmiwinks to reduce the fuelling on increasing load.

though standard injectors are okay fro ko3s though?

how would i do that have lemmiwinks but only every adjusted the timing on there.
 
It basically looks like its chucking out too much fuel.

Adjust the 'fuelling on increasing load" to reduce it, try about 3-5% and see how that goes.


Are you sure your on stage 2? Dont undertand why your gettin those injector times.
 
will give it a try then later. whcih one you looking at for that as will change it and log again see fi makes a diffrence.

yea well should be did it at dub sport and paid for it.

o rigth i see now mines like more or less double on yours!?

and when its having the problem there on liek 29 all the time.

wonder if that could be it and whats causing it.
