Hi, I’ve just bought a seat Leon cupra 2007 and there’s a problem I’m not too sure about. First is the air con.. the blowers aren’t working at all no matter what settings and I have no idea what to do with it.. The next is more of a general question but there’s a P icon on the indicator with an “on off” function, what does this do? Also I can see on the steering wheel there’s a phone and voice command icons. Is there any way of connecting my IPhone X by a certain adapter? Thanks

Did you get a manual with it? I'd check the fuse first. Mine did this when someone put a 15a fuse in instead of the required 40a. Should be behind a pull off panel in the console when you open the drivers door.

Um, trying to think what I have there... does it have cruise control?

Not sure on the last one... I assume it doesn't have bluetooth?

Hi, I’ll try and attach a pic off what mine looks like. I honestly have no idea, I never got a manual with it. At first I thought it was parking sensors but I think it might be cruise control. No idea how to use it tho haha

Fuse box is the panel on the right of that bit in your photo:

I say cruise control. Because mine has a CC on/off switch. Which apparently stops you turning it on by accident (which I never have).

Ahh okay, I figured out how to use it now, it is cruise control. I’ll take a pic of fuse box tomorrow. Unfortunately have work in 5 minutes :(

Hi, I checked all of the fuses and used a diagram to see if I was missing any but they’re all good. Could it be the blower resistor?

Is the fuse the correct capacity? I think mines 40amps... but the previous owner had helpfully put a 15 in there. Not sure for a Leon, but generally when a blower resistor goes the fan works on full power (cause no resistance is required) then the other settings 2,3, etc do nothing.

The "P" is for parking lights... to indicator stalk up or down will give you a parking light. Not sure on the blowers though, thats an odd one.

Ahh okay, another thing I just changed the cam follower in the fuel pump and changed the battery. Now 3 lights have come on the dash, is there any way to reset the dash?

Drive it about 10 meters usually does the trick. So long as you turn the wheel a bit left n a bit right.

Yeah thanks that worked haha, yeah all the fuses are correct. I bought another resistor but it’s the wrong one so I’ll have a look at where I can get the right one :(

Turns out I’ve now got a bigger problem. Most times I’m driving and come to a stop the battery light comes on and kills the engine yet it starts up after perfectly fine, all fuses are good, alternator is charging and tried 2 new batteries. Scanner is saying no communication. I don’t understand what’s wrong with it at all

Have you measured the alternator voltage under load (aircon on, heated rear window on, radio on, wipers on, etc)?

Did these new errors happen to coincide with the massive amount of rain we just had?

I just cleared the fault codes, went for a drive and upon getting home it died on me as soon as I pulled up. These were the only codes after scanning again. I’m so confused

Loose earth cable?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No I checked all earths and they’re good. I think I’ve narrowed it down to ECM Relay which is the R1 in fuse box (engine bay) mine is a 370 tho. I’ve been looking at others on YouTube and there’s are 460? Does it make a difference?
