HELP! Unable to unlock car via driver door!

HELP please. The other day I thought I would just try and lock the car via the door rather than remote. Heard a clunk as if something had dropped out in the door and nothing from the lock. I then tried to lock/unlock the car via remote fob and it worked fine.

Any ideas??

sounds like the barrels broken - remove it and have a look

Great. Is delocking recommended as I am thinking of doing this now as it's cheap and would solve the problem of the lock.

yeah - it all helps for security
