I've just joined up, bought my Leon about 3 weeks ago, already my doors are leaking so make sure you check all carpets when you go looking! I didn't haha my temperature sensor also never worked (bought as is as I know they're common) and well got one off ebay for 99p and it works fine now! Other then those 2 bits I can't say i've had any other issues as of yet, though I do have a slight hesitation at 1500-1800 rpm which i'm currently trying to find out about, thinking DV + poss MAF but will see.
Other then the common issues around here such as carpets water leaks etc just check general stuff! Suspension, bushes etc etc

Another newbie!

Hi guys, thought i'd finally register after spending a few weeks browsing!

Bought a 2003 Leon 1.8T and so far loving it... even though it can be abit tricky putting the power down so will have to get that sorted first!
Got it completely standard minus some xenon bulbs and have just fitted an open cone filter, next to change is a 007p!
Would add a picture but can't until I have 15 posts! lol
EDIT: I've got a slight misfire/ hesistation between 1500-1800rpm, can't find too much around regarding this other then MAF / DV so that's my next stop but just curious if anyone else had any ideas ?

Apparently 2k before I bought it, but have no proof. It's had new coilpacks earlier in the year but could do with a set of plugs n fluid change for peace of mind

Yeah for sure dude! no doubt about it!
definatley gonna start on the THS mounts, Jetex air filter, Heatshield, Direct air flow pipe, 007p and a few other treats... then onto big things, FMIC REMAP etc..

Good lad! You'll feel improvements with 007p, but the fmic made a massive difference in the warmer temps on mine. And I'm running standard map/boost still..

Cannot wait for my stage 2 in a few weeks

I am a proud owner of a Cupra R - and its the 225 version too - first Cupra iv ever bought. I took a little while deciding what car to buy. Basically its an Audi S3 but with a much better, more modern style to it (then they bought out the new S3 lol) but all things considered, you get a good looking, great handling and fast car for a good price (not overpaying like audis!)
I have had mine for about 5months now, love it! and have only 1 problem:
My driver side rear door has trouble unlocking when using the key fob, might just be a sticky lock but wont unlock everytime and the outside handle wont always open the door. So check all doors?

Other then that keep us updated!
