Does that look OK to everyone else? Just wanted to make sure as it seems pretty cheap...

I did look at that mydepots site mentioned in the big thread but everyone seems to be ordering from eBay recently?

yeah looks the part dude and looks about the average price, a lot of sellers put low price and high postage to lower the fees they pay to ebay

Hey, sorry to hijack the thread, but do you recommend any traders on ebay for HID's?

There are so many to choose from, and most of them are from China and Hong Kong, are they safe to order?

Yeah mate, its fairly safe, obviously pick ones with good ratings

I got mine from here:

Ordered a 6000k one from there in the end, they seem fairly reputable and the price is fair

sorry i got a fabia vrs and on briskoda they dont bother with hid's as they say they are illegal and wont pass mot, is this the same for leons?

Do not buy from diane-shop! the ywill never send a replacement part out if something is broken!

At MOT all the testers have to check is the allignment and that the headlight bulb colour is a matched colour. At NO point do they check for auto levelers and washers to be fitted.

This comes under C&U regs but I have still not received any docs informing me that they need to be checked on the side of the road. Once I do i'll be taking mine out!

I've had a ballast fail and they have been really good at sending out a replacement without me returning the original, just pay the shipping. Top service.

And get slim, they're easier to mount somewhere!

when you buy it do you get the full package bulbs the lot and is it wise to buy some spare bulbs
