HID people

seen in the hid guide and a few other posts where a few of you have mounted there ballasts, but has anyone else got any pics of where they have mounted theres?? just want some more idea before i fit mine.

i want them neatly tucked away.

its hard to find somewhere for them,
i mounted my nearside on on the side of the battery cover, the off side one is mounter on the slam pannel bold closest to the wing.

think i saw yours mate,

my mate took his rs bumper off and hid (pardon the pun) them behind there, tempted to do that if there is no room around,

is there room under the lights??

dont know mate, too lazy to put mione down there, plus gets a bit wet and mucky down there, dont fancy screwing into my bumper, visions of screws coming out the other side!

one i bolted to my battery tray and the other i mounted above the light using a bolt from the slam panel (so it looks like its floating)

i have one on the drivers side on top of IC duct and the other is under passenger side head light

That's the same as mine now. I've changed it a couple of times since originally fitting them, but that's what I've stuck with now.

yeah i stuck the ballast to the washer bottle with very strong double sided tape and put a couple of tie straps round the wiring to the inner wing just in case it ever fell off , being on there now for 6 months all's good

That's the good thing about this job... so long as you use a little common sense, there is no right or wrong about it. Whatever works really, within reason

I got my drivers side the same way as RobM's initial "How To" post...

Passenger side is the sat inside the headlight area, there's a little tray that I have double sided sticky taped to the bottom of the tray...

cool, cheers guys, found a place under the slam pannel for them so they are tucked away and wont see them.
