I do agree with Cupra chris but.....a product should always be FIT for purpose!!! So therefore it SHOULD work however cheap...........i am entitled to a working product. If the replacements i get don't work I will be asking for a refund.

I should have bought mine from dianeshop and don't know why i didn't! I bought my last lot off them and had no problems whatsoever!!!!

Hey guys...I have just ordered mine, I had to take advantage of this offer, go to www.hids4u.co.uk, there ultimate kit is the best one on the market, it's normally priced at £250, but they have it on offer at the moment at £199, they do anti glare bulbs which only cost an extra £10, which takes it to £209, but I noticed that they had a coupon code section on check out, so I searched the web and found the best code at the moment for this site, just put in 'toyota pro' in the box and it knocks off another £52.50!!!!

So you get a top of the range HID kit with anti glare bulbs for £157.49......thats nearly £100 off with anti glare bulbs as an extra!!! why thank you.......happy days!!

Can't fault my Ebay HID's, never missed a beat so far.

If you want to pay an extra £100 for a sticker/brand then fair doo's - these HID's are most likely all manufactored in the same factory in China.

I've had my £35 Ebay HID's for about 18 months now & they have been perfect

Diannes-shop or something along those lines.........

No flicker when moving, 6000k, they are blue for about 5 seconds when turned on, then go an extreme white with a small hint of blue when looking at it from certain angles.

I tried that code when I was purchasing them and it didn't give me as much discount and the code Toyota Pro!!
The code golfh7 it no longer valid mate.

I'm not knocking the HID kits you guys have purchased from ebay, i'm sure they do the job, but there are alot of HID kits around that are elegal, purely because they create too much glare, I decided to spend the extra money on the best kit around, because I dont want any hassle in the future from the police or maybe even an MOT test station!!!

there not illegal because of the glare.....its that the light housing has to be designed to have HID bulbs in them and also to be legal you need headlamp washers and they need to be auto-leveling

Its obvious who has got HID's installed as people drive towards you, i've not seen one HID setup coming towards me yet that has blinded me or given any kind of glare.

If you are going by the photo then this glare will have been produced by the camera.

How do you know if the car driving towards you has factory fitted Xenon lights or after market ones

Of course you can tell because of the white/blue colour light, but there are lots of cheap after market kits which do give off alot of glare, I have been blinded in my rear view mirror on a few occations by this and I know that they were not factory fitted because of the age of the car that blinded me, why would one of the leading after market HID conversion companys spend alot of time and money on engineering anti glare bulbs, to eliminate this problem

Sorry to hear your having problems mate if you have the extra cash, I would really recommend www.hids4u.co.uk
They are the best kits on the market, you wont get any flickering and **** from them, if you do decide to shop there, dont forget the coupon code which I have put in my previous post on this thread, it will give you a great discount

mydepots are doing the slim line kit for £40!

not sure how slim line they are, the ultimate kit I purchased is quite chunky, but very good quality, still small enough to tuck away ok though!

Do we need to differentiate between HIDs and badly aligned HIDs perhaps?!

And they probably developed them so they have something to sell that hasn't yet made it on to ebay!
