Vat going back up... I think it should stay at 15% lol we aint out of the crap in the UK :|

Just thought id mention to you all who are looking to buy new cars seat stopped honouring the 15% VAT on the 31st October so if you take delivery on your car after the 1st of January you most likely will be paying the 17.5% VAT sucks i know just thought id give you the heads up (well whats what my dealer said to me rushing me in on the 31st to get the VAT at 15% guaranteed) but ask your dealer to confirm

Ye should count yourselves lucky. In Rep of Ireland I paid 21% vat and 25% vrt leavin my 1.6 Leon 21650 euro. Thats about £19000 for you!!

Hey everyone, just been down and i have just about put my name on it...

We have agreed on the car that has a RRP of £12200 that overall i am paying £10620. That includes 1/2 tank of petrol, reg fee and 12 months tax.

Price also includes all finance, charges and interest added on. Works out around £65 a week for me.

I was abit gutted when i asked him about all the charges for the finance, he said the finance company charge another £150 on the first payment and the last payment so that was £300 on top! Is that a usual thing? On borrowing the final £1800 (getting them down from £1948) for finance i am paying a total of £2397 over 3 years. Thats just under £600 i'm paying back! Looking online i am paying back £150 more than i would with a loan...

What do people think then... At the end of the day in my current situation i'm ok at paying £65 back a week...

At the moment i just feel like i could have got them down some more?

i bought a ibiza SE in white but i was looking at it in orange it looks nice would be a reccomendation i chose candy white instead let me know when you have ordered and colour!

I got tomtom prep, ipod aux, cruise control, bluetooth, 16" alloys, and i got the candy white paint as extra! should have paid about £12,000 but paid £10,100 for it happy with the car 1st service costs alot though at £140.82
