hopefully last problem to fix... loud screech

everynow and again when I start my car it make Little ticking noise then when I rev it it starts to scream at me, any idea what this is ? it's a 1.9 tdi, could it be this pully I've read about a couple of times

awww mate, i hope you find out what it is...it seems to be 1st and 2nd gear...and only upto 2.5k revs in each gear then it stops! thought it was the turbo tbh!

To check if the pulley is at fault:

- Lift the bonnet
- With the car idling in neutral, turn the steering to full lock (either direction) and hold it there. An assistant doing this for you is preferable.
- Whilst doing the above, check the front of the engine bay, if you hear a flapping or screeching noise and can see the poly V belt vibrating, the pulley has failed.

It's common on all 1.9 TDIs.
