After fitting my fmic this morning and relocating the horns to where the standard intercooler was, i pluged them back in and now they dont sound the same, seems like its struggling to work properly. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hey , I got the same problem here ...
Just removed the (2) horns to better reach my K&N filter
(on typhoon pipe, down inside bumper).

Afterwards reconnected the horns, but they now suddenly sound really awfull !!

Actually I don't think they get earth/ground from the mounting brackets/bolts,
but direct from the cabling. As the connectors to each horn have 2 wires.
That would be 12V and ground , I guess ...

I wonder if it matters if you accidentally swapped the connectors between the 2 horns...
( but can't imagine though that it would matter ... )

Did you get this sorted ? It drives me crazy [:@]

yes i have got it sorted now, just messed about with the bracket and what it was bolted to and works fine again now

So it could have been bad grounding then ... ?

Will try to fix it , next time I put the car on the bridge.
So I can do it easier from below.
