how do i get rid of this??

hi all, ever since i got my cupra this bit behind the bumper has been anoying me how can i get rid of it and has it any purpose because i think it would look loads better with out it?

Most have just used a dremel/drill.. and sanded it.. i believe..

Hi, when i had my intercooler fitted by jabba they took out a black weird shaped thing and i am guessing thats what it is. here is a picture of my front, cant see it there so that must be it. it must not do much cause my cars been running ok without it.

so do you think it would be alot easier to take the bumper off and then it might just pull off instead of drilling every whole?

Defo take off the bumper and sand or cut away the bit of plastic that blocks up the honeycombs. A small belt sander will do the job nicely.

yeah if you take the bumper off i would imagine it should just pull off or cut out. i would take a picture of my left over bit but its in my girlfriends shed.

you will have to drill it out,the fr grill pictured above and cupra grill are different the fr grill has a scoop for the smic where as the cupra has fmic with no scoop to remove so the only way is to drill and dremel the existing grill or purchase an fr grill.
