Oh my god!!!!!!!!!! There really needs to be a sticky about this, it gets asked 10 times a day i swear!

Theres LOADS of info on the boards relating to this, please use the SEARCH button.

Basically you can get very close to an atmospheric sound by following a few simple steps, as said use SEARCH for 'wooshy wooshy'

This question has never been asked before, glad you brought it up

Search for an Induction Kit and run it with a recirculating dump valve, should satisfy you needs.

You can run a blow off valve if you want though......nobody will be able to guarantee if it'll work or not, maybe it'll be fine......maybe your car will run rich then lean

Sorry found this, and had to use it:

I just put a pipercross induction kit on. Made a loud noise. Gets on your nerves after a while. if u are gonna get an induction kit my advice is to do it properly, don't mess around with the cheap ones, get one like the jabba. the pipercross i had made my car run crap.

And the is no way of fitting an atmospheric DV unless you fancy changing the engine management!!!!! And if you want the noise really loud then go n get a scooby!!!!!!

You can and people have run Atmospheric DV's on cars that have'nt been remapped, and a few people seem to have done it without any issues, some on the other hand, have experienced issues.

When the car is remapped, thats when there seems to be a line, that the atmos dv's dont work.

But best bet is to listen to the people who have been there and done it, and then advise you not to waste your money.

As has been said, a similar sound can be achieved by using an open cone filter, with a forge 007 or Baileys dv30, on a remapped car.

i have a max flow kit on mine with the forge 007 u don't get a loud dump but u get a kid of dearth Vader noise great sound especially when u go thought tunnels.
