how do put an aftermarket head unit in an ibiza cupra mk3

i got an mk3 ibiza cupra and need to put another stereo under the steering coloum but need to know how to wire it up and wat is needed to do it
if anyone could help that would be great.

You just need to make an ISO extension cable, nothing difficult. Then when you crash the HU will break your legs.

yea but wat about the centre consol do u take the leads out of that and extend them or make other ones

and would the centre consol still work like temp gauge and climate control#

Why do you need two stereos?

no im want to keep the power to the centre consol for the climate control and stuff but i need the wires to reach down under the sterring wheel aswell

Mines wired off the cigarette lighter as a permanent live, the centre console still works but obviously no sound comes out when the car stereo is turned on. no engine management lights come on (4 that reason anyway) anyhow a fault reading can be found however its just the cigarette lighter causing a fault.

Hi I would also like to put an aftermarket stereo in my ibiza cupra mk3 but don't have a clue what to do as u have a standard stereo in the atm
