GRUMPY!!!!! U may have noticed the little laughing smiley at the end of the sentance - it was meant as a joke! But if you offend so easily and cant take a joke then I apologise!!! Just think if u have forked out for Eibach coilovers you should be able to lower it further than that, the whole idea of coilovers is so you can slam ur car! Mayb u shud complain to the company u got em from or write to eibach, I wouldnt be happy if I was expecting to slam my car and they were the results I got! :(

mk2 vr6  maybe ilput a vr6 in my mk2 soon
so the back suspension setup andy is set as low as it will go ! can you get picture up of the setup so we can have a look whats going on please ta!

front too :)

Andy knows what he's talking about, I found it patronising too and would've given an even harsher retort.

I used to run KW v1s on my 130 Sport and had the same problem as you. I whipped out the spring platform and while it went down to the perfect height, the springs were loose and for that reason I declared it unsafe and stuck them back in.

Wont get a look at it for 3-4 weeks now, goin offshore tomorrow.

I think it will look quite different with some wider 17's on there, the wheels do sit quite far in.

I'm not sure if the spring will go loose or not, the dampers seemed short enough that with a full drop the spring might still be captured between the beam and chassis, i'll whip put the platform and see how it goes when i get back, if they are at all loose then i agree thats not safe.

As I said before it was meant as a joke, not a serious comment! Thought that was what these things were for:  i.e. to show someone you are only jesting with them and not accusing them of being stupid!

Ive got Eibach Coilovers on mine and its wound right down to the bottom at the back. (75mm drop i think)

It sits about right for what im looking for, but then again, considering taking the adjuster cups out to sit it on the ground.

As dozza says, I thought it would have went a bit lower than it is. Ive added 2 of my old wheels in the boot while they are settling in to see if that will help bring it down.
