i hate the way they increase the tax every year but do f**k all to the roads.
pot holes everywhere, funny isn't thats what road tax is for? (supposedly)
tell me about it mate, I live on a housing estate that has one entrance to it and its got road works on for 8 weeks. Raised man holes, crappy road surface, MASSIVE RAMP. Im not kidding you I have to go over it at 2mph or I will actually loose my bumper. For such a small road 8 weeks is taking the mick it really is, POT holes everywhere. Baisicly I feel I am funding the speedcameras.

you should see my roads where i live.
i swear they are the worst in england.
just love the way they leave it till its 3foot deep then come along with a bag of dry tarmac chuck it in, tread on it then bugger off, only to fall apart 2 days later
we should all stop paying road tax for 1 year in protest to the roads.

it says 211 C02 emissions.. so thats £300 next year and £310 the year after..

Well mine goes up £90 next year to £300 then upto £310 in 2010.
Not sure where you got the £550 figure from Allh2k as far as I'm aware that is the first year tax for any new car registered in 2010 & then it drops back down in 2011 to the £310 rate
From what I gather as ours arent brand new we just get hit for the £310 rate.
Still it's a serious mikey take & is making me honestly consider selling the LC & buying a Pre 2000 hot hatch instead.

on the left they have this years where ur car is prolly 186+ ??
and next year you end up in 201 - 225 CO/2 group, with a tax of 300
