how many mtrs 19mm hose for pcv delete?

not trying to hi-jack the thread here. but ive seen some people do away with pcv and not put a catch in? they say venting to air? from what i can make out they rip whole pcv system out and just have a pipe hanging about?

Yes as far as I know this is do able, the negatives are 1) no suction from TIP to create negative pressure in cam/crank case, 2) toxic vapours released to atmosphere / possibly routing back to cabin filter -> your poor lungs!
