Rattles gone - official !
I am delighted to announce that I finally sorted mine by the most draconian operation, of removing the airvents and radio from the dash for the fourth time and stuffing foam all around the air vent ducts, so they physically were not able to move anymore !
I had already done multiple under-bonnet fixes, self adhesive velcro everywhere...I even removed the spare wheel and removed the under - dash area again using tape, foam and velcro in copious amounts !
Not for the faint hearted though !
Whilst my car makes about as much noise inside as a new Bentley now, you really shouldn't have to rebuild a new car like this...it took me 4 months constant attention to sort out !
Try harder SEAT !![Furious [:@] [:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif)
Now it's sorted though...I really love my car...there is nothing quite like "The sounds of Silence"

, over week now and not a single rattle or creak, seems that the catches were moving slightly when the body flexed causing the creak noise and also twisting the dash as the car flexed.
, so if you get the chance I would advise you check this.
