I had a quote today for a full service from Seat for my LCR on 80k
also had a quote from them for a new driverside outer cv boot.

How much do you reckon ????

All i'll say for now is the usual garge i use quoted £150 less than Seat for both jobs, and thats using all the recommended parts and oil that the Seat garge would be using.

Well not far off, Seat want £250 for the service and £115 for the cv boot fitted.

On the other hand, an independent gargae quoted £165 for the service and £46 for the boot fitted, and he was very specific about the quality of the parts he'd use.

My brother in law works at a ford/nissan/suzuki dealership so asked him to get a price, and they want £150 for the service (which even included a brake fluid change) and £110 for fitting but not including the boot.

Where do Seat get these prices from, £250 for the service is a bit steep, think i might ring VW just for the hell of it.
