when i did mine I warmed the engine a little bit to help get them out. pull of the cap and remove using the required socket. when you put the new ones in make sure the thread is lined up properly, you really dont want to strip the thread on the engine. really easy job just watch you dont burn your fingers

not at all, below the rocker/cam cover you can see the fuel line and underneath there is the wiring harness for the glowplugs (its a long tube with with four horizontal tubes coming off it) pull this off and four glowplugs should be visible.
