Not really the right thread for this but heres some pics, think round the door handle its been resprayed, might pop it back to the garage I bought it from but dont think it'll be covered under my warranty.
I have no idea to tell you the truth on my day off think ill pop back to the garage I bought it from and ask some questions nothing in the history about it and it was an ex company/fleet car.
All done and it looks great (Im dead tho!), the only thing is i cant tell if the swirls are gone, so im going down to a carpark when it gets dark to put it under the lights and see, also i can get some good pics then!
Blue, that mirror glaze is good but how the hell do you get it on the sponge?
Today I used Poorboy's polish with carnuba and the EX sealant, which has carnuba in it too ... in direct sunlight onto hot panels ... worked a treat! They went on easy and came off no problem, I did a panel at a time so it didn't bake on, but it all worked great! Used the PC to apply (green pad for polish, blue pad for the sealant) but hand buffed them both off, came off very easily. So far my favourite products are:
Sonus Gloss shampoo
Poorboy's polish with carnuba
Poorboy's EX Sealant with carnuba
P21S wax
Poorboy's bold'n'bright tyre dressing (nice natural sheen)
Clearkote Quik Shine quick detailer (works great on glass too!)
Meguiars Supreme Shine microfibre towels
HHHMMMM not a great fan of megs #83 here all. Didn’t take out all my swirls, it reduced them but still have substantial swirl marks in the paint. Need to try another swirl remover i think?
how many passes did you do ?, remember the pc doesnt remove as much paint as say a rotary, so you will need to work it, doing say 4 seperate applications, i found the seat ovni paint to be alot harder than the renault paint before it
I didnt think my swirls were that bad. Did at least 4 passes but when i cam to take the stuff off it was well on there! Did what it said in one of the vids earlier and polished it until it had more or less all gone!
