hey its no problem, some people doubt just how good these machines are, but as you now know even begginers can get amazing results after just a few minutes of use , thats why i push the machine to anyone who is interested in having a clean swirl free car

your paint looks amazing ,please post full pictures when you get them done

Well that was the first time I'd ever use a machine buffer and all went well with great results. I did read the Autopia guide on how to use the 7424 and there is a video on the Meguiars site worth watching too:

Done that with mine, but I should have used something with more cut than the Swissol Paint Cleaner I had. Got a bit of marring under that magnificent shine. I've got some SSR2 now but I haven't got around to trying it yet.

Yeah good point, I want to make sure the paint is spot on before I apply the Klasse then the sealant glaze. My Klasse stuff arrived from Alex today.

Rob, have you heard of a product called "blacktop" it's made by a company calle Farecla. The bodyshop who are painting my car say it's all they use as they reckon it's the best ?

Never heard anyone raving about it though, but it says it allows fresh paint to breath and cure so I'm guessing only bodyshops need use it really.
