I have a small leak and it only comes in when its really heavy rain, I am getting to the point I want to remove the dash to see where it is coming in, and it would allow me to hopefully repair it.

How do I go about removing the dash? what do I need to remove head unit, ash tray etc, and help on whats required to be removed and how to would be great, I know how to remove lower dash so that parts fine.

I have done a search but not a great deal of info.

Any help would be great.
Cheers

No, its drivers side and I have done everyting I can think of to sort it but just cant find it dont know if its the actual windscreen seal.
So removing the dash to have a look at it would be easiest I think.

check the pollen filter (just under bonnet, near the windscreen on the passenger side), as this is known for causing water leaks if its not in perfect. i didnt put mine in perfect once and it flooded the passenger footwell very quickly. I've heard it can affect the drivers side as well occasionally

checked everything and still leaks on very heavy rain, sealed everyting with silicone etc so removing dash to see where its coming in will be helpful as done everything thats been suggested.

Remvoing the dash is just a job you have to do and learn as you go as its gona take a considerable ammount of time, its if you have the knowledge and mechanical ability to do it, you also have to have a good memory of where things go, whay scew is where and not have a temper as it will cost money.
