Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't have time to investigate properly last night but ran my hand over the lining in the boot in area of the rear light cluster and it was pretty damp!!

I'm off today so will check it out.

Thanks again

Ive got a similar problem on my car too, no screen wash comes through at all to the rear. I had a quick look around the car earlier and after holding the rear wash control down for about 10secs, I noticed that the V connector behind the O/S light had come off and my boot was now soaked! So I connected it back up but still no joy, so I think its a pipe or connection in the tail gate that is blocked. Is this likely?

Also what clips do I need for the trim on the tail gate? (can I get these from VW?)

Rear Washer

If that connection and the one down by the reservoir are both intact it's probably a break in the pipework in the boot lid. There are three screws to be removed (at least on mine) two are behind the pop-off panels and there's another near the grab handle (I've lost that one!) I only have two clips left and the screws... it doesn't need half of them - mine does not rattle and a it's damn sight easier to take the panel off next time!!

Regards

I tried to fix mine today, the pipe had come off... So nothing a hot glue gun wouldn't fix (sod cable ties this sod ain't coming off anymore lol)

Unfortunately, the water seems to be dripping from the bottom of the car when I use the rear screenwash!

Im going to check the front reservoir and see if there is a loose pipe there, as I can't imagine screenwash piping running under the car surely???

It's running into the spare wheel well and out thrugh the drain as i found out when 5 litres of car soap burst open and i ran away as i though it was petrol!!!
