Hi everyone

New to the site, only recenlty bought my Ibiza.

Its been lowered and recently i went over speedbump which has resulted in a split in the bottom radiator hose. Just wondering what the best way is to replace this. Is it a case of having to remove the front bumper to get access to it, or do i have to remove the slam plate and the radiator from above.

Any info would be great

Regards

Andy

if you jack the car up you should be able to access it all from the bottom with no need to remove anything

there are no apertures in the bottom of the front skirt to allow access to the bottom of the radiator

Done the job now, failed to mention it was the cupra 20v turbo.

I had to remove the 2 bolts from the inlet manifold, removed the dipstick support bracket to get access to the top of the hose. Then i had to jack the car up, remove the near side front wheel and inner wheel arch mud guard. I then had to then remove the intercooler bolts and lower it as well as removing the top hose from intercooler to manifold. Finally i had to remove the inlet scoops from the front valance to intercooler gaining access to the bottom hose at the radiator.

Hope this might help something else because it wasnt as easy as jacking it up for access

i dont understand why all that was removed to do it?

i'm sure there's only the one hose that it could have been.
