How To: Retrofit a heated steering wheel to a Mk3 Leon

Hello, few new bits from me!
1. Recently I was installing Cupra steering wheel (without Cupra buttons) with Cupra airbag in Leon MK3 2018 (so 5Q0 slip ring). Airbag was from VZ and it indeed have different plug with 4H0972208F PN. The connector that I've found on AliExpress (already ordered and shipped to me) have the same number and is the same as in VZ airbag loom so one mystery solved!
2. As you can see this car is equipped with Virtual Cockpit (5F0920790, without A and without "Cupra" view). What is interesting is that it is not showing information about activating or deactivating heating. In the past I've installed heating steering wheel in 2019 Leon (5Q1 slip ring) with VC (5F0920790A) and there was that message. I am still trying to figure out what causes this info to pop up. Is it VC version? Is it gateway version? Is it dependent of 5Q0 vs 5Q1 configuration? Any information in this regard will be helpful!

Leon from 2018 have SW 0630 and the Leon from 2019 have 1701. So everything checks out, thanks!
I have had a similar issue on a 2017 leon cupra with vc retrofitted to it, however it was an index A. I updated the BCM from 5Q0937084CQ to 5Q0937084DD, which did correspond with my 2019 leon cupra bcm version (which came with 5q1). Maybe it is worth the shot as updating is really easy and no dataset changes are required for this update.
The button itself is working fine?
Maybe you already had BCM with software version DD? Because it would mean that both of those things are required - VC with index A (SW 1707) and BCM software version with index DD.
