How to vent a mk4 Tdi

Ok, done a search but still can;t see anyhting, but how do i vent a mk4 Cupra Tdi. Got odd looks the other night in the petrol station as i was serching for some magicle button to press etc,

Anyone point me in the right direction please ???

look down the filler neck and there is a black lever on the right. push this down with the fuel pump nozzel. you should hear a sssssssss sound

what does this do exactly?

allows you to fit a few more litres of fuel in, look in the TDI FAQ for loads of info.

I've never managed to get more than an extra £2-3 in when venting but that's filling until it clicks anyway?

Used to be able a extra 6-7 Liters if you kept going at it, though this did take some time.

Also it says in the manual that it may not be safe in warmer climates... but I don't think we need to worry.
