After getting my turbo fitted at VAG Tech the guys noticed that my “uprated” EIP dog bone mount was sh4gged, its only done about 10k but the guys thought there was more play in it than the stock one! Ive now got the HPA bushes fitted and the extra cylindrical bush that none of the other manufactures supply. All I can say is this thing is out of this world, I thought wheel tramp was limited with the EIP unit but with this new HPA unit its 20 times better. These are my initials thoughts and i will report back soon when I have had a real chance to get used to it

Well its been about a week of motoring with the new unit and all i can say is im really impressed. HPA are the only company to supply a vertical bush (the one that bolts to the engine). There is a bit more vibration than my EIP one but allot less than some others i have been in. Iam very impressed with the amount of movement that has been eradicated. All i can say is if your thinking about doing this mod you cant go wrong with the HPA unit as a great all rounder.

yep agree with you,i had the vf engineering mount and the red bushes were shagged so had the hpa set fitted. cars feels much smoother and the dash doesn't vibrate anymore:blink:

Scotty says he got his from Vagtech near Leighton Buzzard.

I got my HPAs from there too. Generally pleased with them but the vibration at idle is pretty harsh.

Which part failed? the engine, trans or dog?

I'm pretty sure you can change the bushes. IIRC from the mounts i have, the bolt comes off the top plate.

I had the EIP one and mine was shagged too at under 10k on the mount. It does how ever give more of a vibration than the EIP but less than the forge but i have next to no wheel hop at all, i thought the EIP was good for this!
