Patched them all up (I think) and gauge is reading 1.45 - 1.5 bar @5000rpm :)

Yeah that sounds about right, i have 1.5bar upto about 5000rpm.

When you get laptop, you could also try adjusting wastegate actuator? keep an eye for boost creep, if you start to notice it, slacken wastegate flapper back off.

Made a difference for me but i guess i was off your mark in the 1st place:(

I can connect it via my pc with long serial cable out of the window  Can't do moving logging though!

What boost you getting @ 6500rpm now Mitchy in 4th gear? No nitrous

Around 2220-2250mbar mate.

The way i understand boost creep is....

Example....24psi/21psi/21psi/21psi/21psi/20psi/19psi/18psi/17psi/18psi/19psi/20psi

my boost creep is from undersized wastegate actuator..... so cant bleed out enough, as opposed leak by wastegate from insufficient spring rate which is indicative of a bigger compressor than turbine, hence high manifold pressures to push open the puk.

Finally took some logs last night after "borrowing" my house mates laptop!
Did a 4th gear run which is below.

8.01 3920 191.7 99 Part Throttle
13.54 6200 143.6 161 Part Throttle

The closest speed to 60 - 100 are above! 99kph (61.5mph) & 161kph (101mph)

So 13.54 - 8.01 = 5.53 secs! Was slightly downhill though but still quite impressed. Ambient temp was 13'C

Part throttle too! Just think what it could have been if you'd had your foot down, Sie! :D

nice results Sie, similar to Mitch!

I really must do a time log from 60 - 100 to get a comparison of a max'd out LCR OEM Ko4 to your hybrids!

so just remind me someone please ... how do i do it in vag com?! I have seen a link before but can remember where and don't have time at the mo to search! ;)

Good stuff, just wanted to make sure it was easy and didn't involved juggling a laptop, stopwatch and trying to drive!

I set the log off before I pull away. I leave the mouse hovering over the 'Marker' button and click just before each power run. The markers make each run very easy to find amongst all the other superfluous figures.

That's what I did when logging the MAF, just wasn't sure if the markers would be there for all loggings. Cheers for clearing that up :)

Yep, 4th. Start logging at 40-50mph and hoof it all the way. Pick up the speeds and times from the logs later.
