Hi,

Basically I have managed to break my headlights switch while trying to remove it to power my boost gauge!

I pulled the switch and the little knob snapped off! So i need to source a new one i think, just the round bit, not the dimmer part.

Also, how do i actually get the round part out?

??? you need the knob to unlock the unit from the holder so not sure how you are going to get it out now ?? sorry i cant help

Push the turn switch in turn to the right and pull.

push the switch in, turn to the right then pull<whilst holding in>, (note: it doesnt turn much to the right)

UPDATE - Been out trying to get the round bit out for ages and it wont budge! The little switch part inside does not push in, so I cant push it in and turn it to the right as suggested above.

So what can I do?? Any other ideas as i am stuck???

The switch on ebay (see above), is that just the switch or is it the whole round part?

Meaning i would just have to slot it in and connect the cables at the back when i eventually get the old one out?

Also, is the ebay one a cupra one, ie does it have control for the fog lights?
