i DONT want chatter?

LCR with 007P dv neuspeed induction, full custom exhaust inc de-cat.

hi guys. when building up speed if im just plodding i change gear around 3k rpm and some times i get a chatter type noise coming from the turbo. I know this isnt good and its not somthing i want to keep happening. ive had the car 18 months ish and it hasnt got any worse or more frequent but the more i learn about the car the more this concerns me.

any advice or suggestions? thanks

Yer leave it , it's fine it's only the recirc noise going back and coming out the open cone mine does it , don't worry about it if you are stick the old air box back on and you won't be able to hear it

so its not the turbo spazing out then? i had the standard air box with a pipercross panel filter it didnt get any worse when i put the neuspeed on.

does this mean i dont have to feel guilty for quite enjoying the sound ????? haha

Is it mapped? Is it a green/yellow spring in the DV?

its fine as dan says mine does it though me stand airbox thats drilled.

we need to establish what this sound is.

If its the DV chattering then perhaps a stronger spring may help.

However, if it is the turbo as you say it is, then this isnt good, despite others saying its ok. Have you checked the DV is operating ok and easily? what spring are you using? is it too strong?
All pipes to and from the DV ok?
Turbo chatter being due to poor dumping/diverting?
