yesturday i had a new lambda sensor fitted. drove it home ran vagcom and cleared the fault then i dissconected the battery for 30 mins to reset the ecu. after 30 mins reconnected battery then went for a drive got back ran vagcom to check that all was ok but i got code 18010. after checking it seems that it was due to me dissconnecting battery but i just want to double check with you peeps :)

was it "reference voltage too low" or something like that? if so then yes its fine. Disconnecting the battery often does nothing, you're better off just erasing the faults on VCDS in future.
