I know, I know - asked many times before - but I can't myself decide on a figure

lol - here come the vultures :)

Well the house move is progressing FAR quicker than expected - so far inside 3.5 weeks we've sold the flat, had offer accepted on a house, completed the chain, and majority of the paperwork done and dusted.

If all things continue this way - we'll be moved in around May time - and depending on money that is when the car will be going, to make way for the new car :)

I really wasn't expecting things to move so quickly - but it's ALL GOOD :)

lol again... look at you lot!

Like I said, it isn't up for sale yet - i need to move into the new house first, which should be within the next couple of months (fingers crossed) and then go from there.

Well l know I'm dragging up an old thread, but it's mine so there :p

I'm toying with the idea of selling my Leon again now as it just sits in the garage - got 98k on the clock but only does about 50-70 miles a week now. (weekend driving only)

Been doing some research and looks like it's probably only work about 5.5k - 6k - what do people think?

Does that sound a fair price - that'd be the car with 99% of the mods too - but I'd remove the obvious ones like boost gauge etc unless the buyer is into modded cars.

that's cool then - I wanted to ask more than the pre-facelift 20vt's that I see about (as I think the later cars look much nicer) but at the same time didn't want to price myself out of the market as I know it's got high mileage and the odd blemish here and there (stone chips etc)

I've got the odd bit to sell seperately (like shortshifter, boost gauge, sps3) but I can't really be bothered to strip anything else off. The alloys are kerbed and need a refurb, but at £50 ish a wheel to do I doubt I'd get an extra £200 in the asking price.

Once my redundancy money is in, and I know exactly where I stand, i expect I'll start advertising it.

Ok peeps..... after a bit of advice....

My car is up for sale on here and is going into Adtrader soon. Then onto Autotrader if no interest.

I'm interested to know if everyone thinks that the asking price of £5800 is fair? Am I asking too much for a car with nearly 100k on the clock?

I know because it's modified I'm going to limit the people who are interested, but I'd end up losing money if I had to pay to convert it back to standard.....

So what are peoples thoughts? Do I need to stick firm and wait for someone, or do I need to drop the price to encourage viewings?

Thanks
