i need a little help in pickin the right lead i've just bought a ipod nano and want to control it from my car stereo in my cupra ive herd x link are good is this true?

could also use one of those gadgets that sends a radio signal out which you can program into your stereo

nar thanx for geting back to me, but i want to control my i pod though my stero, so kind of to use my ipod as the cd disc changer.

iv got a bension ipod link that lets me control my ipod from my standard lcr 225 aura stereo got it from ebay fitted it my self comes with a holder which u can screw in fits well with my nano all generation. if u have a 6cd chanher like me which i dont use any cds at all the 6cd changer gets disabled when u install this comes with instructions easy to install will get pics and post them later

i have the xcarlink ipod adapter, which is amazing , very pleased with it

you can change tracks using cd controls

i too want a way to plug my ipod in, i sure i read something that would let you just unplug the changer and you can plug your ipod in the boot

Hey guys, ive been trawling the forum too, i think what Fahid was referring to is a 'Denision Ice link' think they sell on ebay for about 50notes but dont quote me on that! It works by fooling your Seat HU into thinking that the ipod is the 6 cd-changer! So therefore if you install one you wont be able to use the changer. Having said that i found a thread where a guy managed to use both at the same time, but it all looked to complicated for me so i quickly ran lol
