Ibiza delay! Temporary car?

Hi everyone..

I was expecting my SEAT Ibiza to be delivered in September as it said on my contract.. Phoned up last couple of days and found out it was coming in October.. then I was informed I wouldn't have it in my hands till beginning November!!

Really annoying, as I need the car to get to and fro my new house, University, my job etc..

Does anyone know if I can get a temp. car from SEAT? If the car doesn't arrive 28 days after the given delivery date (which was september) I can cancel the contract end of Oct. i just need that car!!!!! lol

Any tips/suggestions?

buy a shitter with a couple of months tax & ticket.

Throw it away when you get your new car

Way cheaper than hiring a car (which you probably can't do if you're at Uni)

ordered mine on the 13th June.. Was told that I'm ''not the only'' one I ordered mine with Bi-xenons and there was a delay because of those.. there was also a call back on sunroofs.. so seems like ticking all the options.. was not a good idea :S lol

ouch, i feel for you, i ordered mine on the 23rd may, fortunately only got delayed becuase it's the 1.6tdi and because of the factory shutdown.

It'll be worth the wait when it gets here though dude, and just be all the more special because of the wait ) I'd agree with mork though, if you need a car quick, get something cheap and not so cheerful that'll last the month, it's extra cost, but it's better than walking

lets hope the one you have ordered isnt a 1.6cr tdi and have the same fault as mine...
