Ibiza Mk4 Front Speakers

Just wondering what speakers to get for the front of the Mk4 Ibiza and what speakers some of you have bought and what you think of them ???

To be honest speaker choice is down to personal preference.

I would say, if your amping them stay away from the Infinity Reference series, I went through 2 sets of them, both blew from not taking as much power as Infinity say they can take! I got some nice Rainbows for £65 (around £2-300 new!), also have bought some Hertz ESK165's but haven't installed those yet.

I've got Hertz Hi Energy Components in the front of mine & ther're awesome speakers. Luckily i got mine for £200.

Your need 24mm rings to space them away from the window & i would recommend Dynamat for sound deafening.

Making some MDF baffles for them anyway, but thats for that

I picked my ESK's up for £60/65 as well I love TalkAudio forums, if you wait there is always bargains popping up!

Ive got Focal Polyglass V2's in mine. Great sound.

Alpine type r fitted in with two 12mm ring of mdf, brilliant sound quality and great power handling!
