I think the norm for a standard car is HB6 T6. Im currently running K03s on HB9 T7 but will be turning up to HB9 T9 as theres room for improvment.

im running revo stage two big boys toys set mine up at hb6 t6 because my vacuum hose was getting as bit worn and they wernt to happy with the N249 by pass iv changed my vac hose gonna put the hose back to normal and i got a forge TIP to go on i spoke to big boys toys and they said they would adjust it for me how much difference does this make and what settings are they likely to set it up at do u think

HB9 T8.

0 CF's with 99 ron and decent plugs, so i could go to T8.

95.2% at start then falls to about 70 odd % up the rev range.

k03s tho.

Yeah from what ive read on here it seems that LB9T6 was the 'norm'.

But that seems to be quite tame for what you guys are running.

The guy i bought the SPS3 from had made notes on it, and it says the recommend max settings by JBS are HB2T5.

I'm sure LB9is the same as HB6. They might have logged the car on shitty plugs and petrol and come to a conclusion that the settings are on max for the mods/petrol/plugs etc...

Keep logging it and adjusting, but i'd crank up the boost settings tho without a doubt.

PhilW - do u think i should have a go on HB6 then because i have currently got it on LB9 and it seems a bit tame!

Hi all sorry to jump into your thread but im confused with these settings too for my LCR.

Im running stage 1 Revo but am ready for 2 just need 4 bar feul reg. Ive got new plugs, uprated hoses etc and always run optimax.

At the mo its set to HB5 T6 that gives me 1.4bar peek then drops to 1.2

Ive got the old sps3 so does these settings sound ok or shall i go higher maybe HB6 T7?

What will it do if thats not ok? Kill the turbo or anything?

Its pointless tweaking settings with an SPS without the use of Vag-Com in my opinion. You really need to log wastegate duty and intake temps on block 118, requested & actual boost on block 115, and timing retard on block 020.

Without logging these your never gonna know what the car is doing.

p.s LB9 = B6 on new sps

Version 1.0:
LB0 - 0.35 bar = 5.145 psi
LB1 - 0.46 = 6.762
LB2 - 0.57 = 8.379
LB3 - 0.68 = 9.996
LB4 - 0.79 = 11.613
LB5 - 0.90 = 13.230
LB6 - 1.01 = 14.847
LB7 - 1.12 = 16.464
LB8 - 1.23 = 18.081
LB9 - 1.35 = 19.845
HB0 - 1.37 = 20.139
HB1 - 1.39 = 20.433
HB2 - 1.41 = 20.727
HB3 - 1.43 = 21.021
HB4 - 1.45 = 21.315
HB5 - 1.47 = 21.609
HB6 - 1.49 = 21.903
HB7 - 1.51 = 22.197
HB8 - 1.53 = 22.491
HB9 - 1.55 bar = 22.785 psi

Version 1.1:
B0 - 0.35 bar = 5.145 psi
B1 - 0.52 = 7.644
B2 - 0.69 = 10.143
B3 - 0.85 = 12.495
B4 - 1.01 = 14.847
B5 - 1.18 = 17.346
B6 - 1.35 = 19.845
B7 - 1.42 = 20.874
B8 - 1.48 = 21.756
B9 - 1.55 bar= 22.785 psi

pretty much all the essentials but the turbo upgrade, dv, tip, fmic, turbo back exhaust, cai
but i ran HB6 with no fmic and it was still happy. i get abit of timing pull, but this is more likely due to factory spec plugs or just poor quality fuel

boost tails off no more than it did on HB6 so i left it, always within 21/22 on spike and 11psi at redline
car feels great when it wants to

so do u think i would be ok the run HB6 and T6? mine is always run on optimax, got cat back, forge dv, induction kit.

Cheers for the help!

dont see why not, maybe even T7 if you run on optimax/vpower
best not go higher than HB6 though if it has stock DP and cat and smic, cos its sure to bog down alot on a hot day.

however thats just my experience. really you should run logs after changing settings to make sure its tip top.

its a good way of testing how much life is left in your clutch plate too

ca;; me stupid but i am a bit confused, these LB9's and HB2's etc are they all different types of N75 valves ?
